Lesbian Lips

Every spring tens of thousands of women from around the world converge in Palm Springs for the biggest lesbian event of the year, The Dinah Shore. This four day event boasts scores of cocktail parties, performances by top recording artists and comedians, wild pool parties, hookups, breakups, networking, and the rare opportunity for gay women from all walks of life to experience a sense of community. What began more than 20 years ago as an informal gathering of women attending a golf tournament has evolved into an organized extravaganza that attracts big names and even bigger corporate sponsors. Yet while this event is known throughout the GLBT community, it remains a mystery to the larger world…until now.
