Synopsis
In this movie, Lewis and Ribisi perform admirably as developmentally different young adults who meet and fall in love. Even though Carla has grown into a very capable young woman, her nervous mother still has a major meltdown when Carla announces she's in love for the first time! So as Carla and her new boyfriend set out to experience all of life's great adventures, they're also out to prove that Carla has earned her independence!

Heather, one of Carla's sisters, is a lesbian. Her mother usually ignores her sexual oientation or addresses Heather's girlfriend as a simple friend. Es la tipica pelicula de Garry Marshal,como Pretty Woman o Princesa por Sorpresa,por muchos problemas que aparezcan durante la pelicula,seguro que el final es un final feliz.
En cuanto a los personajes lesbicos estan bien llevados por Sarah Paulson,una de las lesbianas más bellas del cine actual,y como curiosidad decir que el papel de su novia Michelle,lo interpretaba Tracy Reiner hija de Penny Marshall y sobrina del director.

Peli preciosa que sin duda nos plantea la cuestión de aprender a ver a los demás no por lo que son, sino por cómo son, por lo que llevan dentro.
