Synopsis
In a star-making performance, Angelina Jolie stars as Gia, a gorgeous Philadelphia native who arrives in New York City to become a model and immediately makes an impression on high-powered agent Wilhelmina Cooper. Gia's fierce good looks make her a star, as does her willingness to pose nude. Gia becomes entangled in a passionate affair with a photographer's assistant, Linda, but Linda is more conflicted about her bisexuality, driving Gia away and fueling the model's craving for mood-altering drugs. Failed attempts at reconciliation with both Linda and her mother Kathleen drive Gia further over the edge from cocaine to heroin, her emaciated body and sunken eyes becoming the catalyst for the "heroin chic" look. Although Gia is eventually able to kick her powerful habit, she learns that an infected needle has resulted in her contracting the AIDS virus.

De la actuación me gustaría decir que me hes inolvidable... en todos y cada uno de los momentos del trascurso de la historia, Angelina, me envolvio con su dominio corporal,con su sensualidad y sexualidad. (me encanta esa escena donde se enfrenta a sí misma a sus sentimientos en la reja) Sin embargo, me parecio una historia sumanente humana, marcada por la tragedia, por ese choque drámatico de lo que se es y se pudo ser...o hacer...me parecio una historia muy, pero muy trsite...muy real para ser real, me falto kisas ilusamente el otro lado de la moneda de las relaciones humanas...la empatia...el dar la mano...creo que falta de una tenemos dos...

angelina jolie es la mejor, me encanta como actua en cada pelicula, y creo que en ésta no deja de ser menos. Increible

Fiuuuu actua de maravilla Angelina Jolie ..me costo mucho terminar de ver esta pelicula..por lo triste que era y escenas muy impactantes y la recomiendo :-) muy buena

Heartbreaking performance by Angelina. I've only been able to see this movie dubbed into Spanish and I'm convinced it will be twice as impressing when I buy it in English.

Me encanta, se ven tan sexis, ademas como se sabe que Angelina es bisexual le quedo de maravilla interpretar a Gia, una moelos lesbiana. SON BELLAS!

me encanta angelina jolie actua muy bien esa mujer no hay mas q ver esta peli yo la tengo y la habre visto un porron de veces esta bastante bien las escenas de la drogadicion estan mu bien hexas y todo en general entre las actrices muxa kimica x cierto
