Synopsis
Evelyn meets an elderly woman named Ninny in a nursing home waiting room. Ninny tells her the story of the now-abandoned town of Whistle Stop, Alabama, and the people that lived there - specifically the tale of the relationship between Idgie and Ruth, the two women that ran the Whistle Stop Cafe. As the story of Idgie and Ruth (and a missing person) develops, Evelyn finds herself being empowered by the stories of the strong-willed Idgie and the fiercely loyal and independent Ruth. She also finds a true best friend in Ninny.

Es una bonita historia.
Hay que verla, y yo tengo que leer el libro.
Recomiendo ver también Aimee y Jaguar.
Me gustaría ver esta película rodada en la actualidad. Si la original no tiene adjetivos q la definan en su plenitud, no me quiero imaginar lo que añadirían hoy en día, es decir, 16 años más tarde (q se dicen pronto) si la volvieran a rodar.
es muy recomendable.
Pero esa complicidad, ese todo.
Un gran libro, por cierto, que queda recomendadisimo. Lo leí después y me sorprendio ver que es distinto al final de la película... pero aún así es una buena adaptación al cine. No hay películas lésbicas de tanb buena calidad a menudo.
